To start with I need to request two numbers the first is BGB and the second one is Yang.
A brief history on how I ended up with 2 Hyper Blue Cabrio's in my garage. These are my 4th and 5th MINI's that I have had in the past 6 years. My original Indy Blue was sold to my middle daughter when she decided to go into the USCG and to help her establish credit rather then give it to her she paid a great price for it. I had just made the rank of Master Chief in the Navy and purchased a 2008 Dark Silver / Black Cooper S with the JCW body kit. My wife was driving a Mellow Yellow Cabrio and life was good around our house. I deployed with the Navy and to make sure that my car did not sit idle my wife took it out on many a spirited drive. Then came that phone call that no parent wants saying when their daughter calls saying they have been in an accident. End result Indy Blue MINI was totaled and with my wife now wanting an "S" we passed on the Mellow Yellow Cabrio to my daughter. Into our house comes "BGB" for Baby Girl Blue and my wife has a white striped 05 MCS with a list of mods that she wants to make. After many Mods on my 08 the realization starts to set in that the french engines are not doing well and after about 40,000 miles start to consume oil, timing chains are failing, engine blocks are easily warped, front and rear seals leak and the list just keeps on going. Having almost 60,000 miles I decided it was time to dump the turbo and go to the super charger and started looking. End result is that I went back to the best color blue "Hyper Blue" and since I had become use to the Cabrio style I found an 06 Black Striped MCS for sale. Thus the name of "Yang" and the second MINI is back in the garage also with a list of Mods to do. Chrome will be removed/covered on Yang and the Mods will progress on these two proving that no two MINI's are alike.
