Molly helped me move today too!! From one office building to another approx. 2.5mi. away. The High Point was going back and forth two times today in the middle of the day, once for moving, the other was to do a favor for a co-worker!!

Stress relief

After a hectic week of wanting to drive off a bridge I finally finished a decent amount of sound dampening. The ride was som much quieter I didn't want to stop, I cant wait till I finish the entire project along with new audio.

They are doing a run Sunday, check it out! 3 spots left! I can't be there, but tell them Giggles tagged you.

Go ahead and join. They will email updates to you if you include your email in your profile! They have several runs scheduled for the upcoming months.

I did it! I replaced my passenger side half shaft! Spent about $180 including some tools I needed to complete the job. What a fun project. Some irritating spots (like freeing up the outer ball joint and getting that famous 3rd bracket bolt in and out, not to mention the circlip on the intermediate bearing) but I got it done.

Thanks to this forum, the bentley manual and some insane amount of persistence, I saved myself some cheddar and got some new tools!

I just wish I the proper facility to do the work. I like being able to do my own work, but it seems that most everything I do to my MINI, I need to have a shop do it. I just ordered some HELIX lower control arms and I will have to take it over to Shawn at MINI of Pensacola to get a technician to do the exchange. I hate spending extra money.

Shawn will probably have Aaron install them. He does all my after market stuff. Actually, they are reasonable compared to other dealerships. They installed my Megan Racing Coilover, H-sport rear camber links, and alignment for $399. That's very reasonable.

You are probably right. Aaron installed my carbon fiber front lip the other day.

You can't beat Aaron's knowledge and skill. Also, I'm with you, I need a place to work. I've got a big 25X30 metal carport but I'm just not comfortable laying under the car while on jack stands even though I do have them.

You did you have install the exhaust?

What did my mini do for me today?
Took me on a very important destination today. One year ago today my favorite aunt was taken from me by cancer. ZIM took me to visit her grave, pay my respect, place flowers at her grave site and and reflect on the memories of her.

Exit to dry my eyes.

She took us to the local airport to watch the planes and helicopters frolic on this beautiful spring day, then she drove me to work...

Had a reservation at the Microtel. In Robbinsville, about 40 mts from everything. Am I lucky, or what? Made my day!

My MINI caught a rock like that, right next to the MINI emblem on the hood. It went right through the clear bra and left a dent the size of a dime. The whole car rang like a bell when it hit.

My MINI took me to a job interview for a Social Media position which includes some blog writing! AWE-some!

(now I just have to keep my fingers crossed that I get the job offer!).
