Heh, my wheels right now are gun metal

I guess I'll just have to try it and see how it'll look in person. Good thing plastidip is easy to peel off! I'll just have to wait for this weather to clear

Duh - maybe if I looked at your signature I would've noticed that! Or - wow, I love the current look of your wheels!

I think it looks cool, but won't it get dirty too easily?

I think I'll stick with white. Lime green is a bit too much for me. Let's just say my usual shirt color spectrum is many shades of gray

Are you and the family moving to Florida for retirement? The whole beach bum idea sounds pretty nice right now. Winter sucks.

My wife will fully retire in June 2014. I'll fly back here to maintain my law practice part-time, at least for a couple years. I want to hang out by our pool and the Gulf beach as much as possible. I'm sure we'll do some traveling too.

That's great! I have 12 more looonnnngggg years until I can retire. However, I'm in law enforcement and there's never a dull moment, so hopefully it will fly by.

Just in case you guys haven't seen the "what did you do..." thread, I went ahead with the white plastidip. I'm liking the look so far

Can't wait to see it when the car is clean

I'm a criminal defense lawyer and former prosecutor. No dull moments, for sure.

You're most likely the very first Pepper White owner who did not go with gunmetal or black wheels. You are awesome!

Oh no I've been caught!

I'd like to preserve my gunmetal during the winter, but I'm liking the white so much I'm actually considering keeping it like this for a long time!

Maybe lol. I'm pretty sure someone else has done it though. To me, it didn't make sense to do all the work and end up with the same or almost the same color as the original.

Oh I remember your gunmetal wheels!! But the white on white for a MINI is pretty sweet. It's too common on other brands but I've never seen it on a MINI.

Yeah, I was trying to find someone else who did white wheels on PW and couldn't find anything. During the process I was a bit unsure as I was in the garage, but once the sunlight hit the car I was very happy with the results.

I actually had to look at some Hondas in Type R trim to convince myself as they are usually white on white!

I think you could put about any color on PW and it would look good.
