Here are a couple of pics of my beast, the day I bought it! We are about to head out on a road trip through New England ending up on Cape Cod, so I hope to grab some "Vacation Pics" of the Clubbie! Will post whatever looks good!
Cheers!
NICE Interior! We have that too. I think its standard on the Sidewalk package

All thats really changed is that I peeled off the white dip (unfortunate incident with a curb :( streets don't have proper curbs on the apex ) and I've added some side stripes.
Hi guys haven't updated in a while. All thats really changed is that I peeled off the white dip (unfortunate incident with a curb :( streets don't have proper curbs on the apex ) and I've added some side stripes.
I personally prefer the gun metal wheels. And cool stripes. So did you decide to stick with the MINI platform after all? I remember you mentioning awhile back that you were bored.

Let's just say I'm kind of forced to stay with the brand for a bit longer. I ended up paying for my college dorm this year so all the extra money is gone. Since the car sooooo close to being paid off it wouldn't make sense for me to get rid of it.
In the meanwhile I thought it'd be best to accept that I'm stuck with this car for a bit longer than I imagined so I might as well make the most of it.

I'm curious, did the plastidip help prevent curb rash on your wheels when you brushed against the curb?

the side stripes. awesome choice. that's a good look for your mini.
"stuck with this car" :( aww come on. it's a great vehicle!!
I still have fun driving it, but that S2000 ... The extra power just felt so good to have!
You might try the Roadster S like mine. Plenty of power with the turbo and the top-down ride is fantastic. By the way, I really like your side stripes.
Thanks! I still have fun driving it, but that S2000 ... The extra power just felt so good to have!
Oooh...the S2000 is amazing. I was going to buy one a few years ago as my project car because at the time, I had two other daily drivers. But I couldn't bring myself to gut such a beauty and I figured I'd do better off with an old car. So I bought a CRX Si and turned it into a beast. I would love to still get one, but right now, I need more than two seats. Darn!
Although I love my MINI, I personally wouldn't mind having another car....perhaps one with less fun factor and more in-yo-face power. Maybe the '15 WRX/STI will be an option. Otherwise, I'm getting an S4.

I second the choice for WRX/STI but insurance rates will be increased for it.

Thanks! Made them myself
I thought about sticking with the MINI brand, but I'd like something a lot different. Oh, I planned on getting a hard top for the S2000 if I were to get one, I'm not really a fan of convertibles (I know, buying a convertible only to cover it up ). I'm broke anyways so it's all just a dream for now.
Looks good, I see coilovers/springs in the future once the warranty is up I reckon?
Yes, I actually have some NM springs, Koni yellows, and Hsport rear camber links sitting in the garage that I took out of my old MCS. My original plan was to just swap them with the standard suspension of the JCW. However, after taking delivery of the JCW, I have surprisingly enjoyed the ride of the standard JCW suspension for my DD so I was thinking I might just keep using them till they're shot and then use the NM AND Konis later on. And with the JCW aero kit and the 215 tires, I am actually okay with the current wheel gap.
I am currently eyeing the GP diffuser+belly pan kit for my birthday in June. It's a wonderful thing that my wife allows me to get my mods!
i wanted one as well.. ended up getting RWD instead haha
Lol....RWD are so much fun!!!
I'm not sure why, but it just so happens that most of my "must have" street cars are AWD. Top of my list is the Nissan GTR, but I'd have to sell an organ to afford it. So I'll stick with the $45k and under club for now, but it's definitely on my to buy list.

Well I've been scared shitless (although I know I have nothing to worry about) with the snow that we've been getting because this is my first RWD vehicle.
On a side note, I've driven an Evo 8 before and fell in love with it. I was looking at the Evo X but.....too costly for a car like that. I don't know what the appeal is with the GTR but I know I'm more drawn towards the rally cars
