I highly recommend gold, or anthracite wheels on a Pepper White Mini.

But that kind of defeats the purpose of what I want to do, be different without being completely obnoxious. Yeah bright red is probably dancing on that obnoxious line, but I've always liked the look. White on bronze/gold, white on black, white on anthracite/gunmetal has been done again and again and again. It looks great, I agree, but it's not what I currently want.

I like the red on the "S" logos so I'll probably try to find something like that. My only current hesitation is that the S-Light wheels aren't going to look good in red but I can't afford aftermarket wheels just yet.

Not sure if you are being serious with that comment or not, but being that I lived in Japan for 10 years and got to see the foreigners/military people putting bright orange and green wheels are their cars, those colors are just a little too "JDM" for my tastes.

Thanks for the input though.

I have to ask you guys first. Would any of you be interested in my green stuff front pads?? They're taking up space. I'm moving soon and I need them gone.

EBC Green Stuff brake pads.

I need front brake pads, but thinking I was going to go with a more OEM like pad for now to keep dust down.

How much are you asking?

However much it will be to ship them. I just want them gone since I have no use for them.

Pads are gone. Sorry you guys. I wish I had multiple sets to hand out to everyone. If you guys were closer, I'd drop off the liquids I have as well. Brake fluid and coolant.

Ah, I found a picture:

Now I'm not a fan of the style of these wheels, but I really like the look of the red. I think a thicker spoke design would look significantly better, along with painting the mirror caps, door handles, and gas cap red as well.

Looks good. I think just the wheels and mirror caps in red would be good though...door handles and gas cap in pw/body color. Too much red all over would take away from the wheels and just look like red blotches all over

IMHO

Just stopped by to check in. My youngest daughter has been applying to law schools over the past few weeks, so the process has kept us busy. She was accepted to both schools she applied to: University of Miami and Florida International University! FIU offered her a $47,000 scholarship and we are waiting to see if Miami offers her an award. I am one proud father!

As for my '14 Roadster S .... I've put 1,155 miles on John Bull since delivery on October 7th. Only 45 miles until I hit my break-in period!

Congrats to your daughter Dave. That's a great achievement. As far as your MINI goes, I'm sure the miles will pile on once the weather breaks and you can put the top down!

Hello all

I haven't posted in a while on here, just thought I'd give an update. I picked up some new Michelins MXM4 (215/45/17) and a few days after that I ended up taking my car through the canyons; greatest two things I've ever done for this car

In a month or so I'll have coil overs on my car, the right front shock is slowly leaking so that will have to go. Other than that, an adjustable rear sway bar is also on its way. I'm excited to have it lowered a little bit more than I have now
