I haven't posted in a while on here, just thought I'd give an update. I picked up some new Michelins MXM4 (215/45/17) and a few days after that I ended up taking my car through the canyons; greatest two things I've ever done for this car
In a month or so I'll have coil overs on my car, the right front shock is slowly leaking so that will have to go. Other than that, an adjustable rear sway bar is also on its way. I'm excited to have it lowered a little bit more than I have now
Nice what coilovers did you go with? I just picked up some BC and will be installing this week too.
I finally hit my break-in period today with 1227 miles! I took delivery on October 7th, so its been a long time coming. John Bull cleared puberty and is now into his adult life!

Aww....congratulations!!!!! Now the real fun begins :-)
For God's sake, no. I'm content to zip around the city streets, though I can't wait to hit back roads in the country.
Sorry haha. Had to ask I have a couple friends doing autocross and I've seen a couple MINIs as well. But the scenery found in the country is far more enticing
^^^ Probably have to go custom for that. Try a local speed shop - most times they'll cut vinyl exactly to your specs. I'm thinking about heading to mine to continue my stripe down the boot. May even play with the stripe turning into the "flying checkers" at the bottom.
congrats !!! you're going to have so much fun taking hard turns and everything. she (or he) is lovely! do you plan on modifying it?
with or without bonnet stripes, MINIs still look pretty sweet. which ever way you decide to go, it's a win-win!
I'm not planning on any performance mods for the time being. Honestly, I am too paranoid about screwing up my warranty.
However, I am planning to add a few touches such as painting the calipers an "apple green" color and maybe replacing the current racing stripes with a center stripe matching the green in the calipers.

Sounds promising, if you decide to do it please share with us the community

I second what 13R56S said. I don't blame you on the whole warranty thing. I'm currently paranoid as well for mine.
