My set came early this year, also - rather have them and not need them than vice-versa
And just in time for Christmas...new stripes

I didn't want to see her on the back of a flatbed tow truck again....
She was in to the dealer 2 times in a week for the clutch/tranny, and a couple other problems.
I just wanted to have a stress free Christmas, plus, I don't have any money left this year for repairs. But don't get me wrong, as soon as I got here, I regretted not bringing her!
She would be LOVING this weather!!

Oh...Molly's already had both Front & Rear replaced under the 3 Year Free Maintenance, but this time it will be on my Dime!! Am thinking about Green Pads, but was wondering if Brembo's would fit my 16" Wheels??

You may want to check out TCE Performance as they have some Wilwood package's that may fit. Best of luck.

Some goodies I got this year...
1. a second Thule bike tray for my OEM roof racks - I can finally carpool to the trailhead.
2. Light in Sight - yeah, I'm no longer the over-eager, neck-craning MINI driver at the line.
3. AZN Optics city light LEDs - to match my xenons.
4. MINI buckle - a gift from the coolest 12-year old nephew in the world. I have a collection of belt buckles and this one goes to the top of my list.

Well Pip ended up getting the urban floor mats (which look awesome, and Im hoping the berber will wear better--the factory ones were already showing serious heel imprints), Connolly leather cleaner and conditioner, a MINI Union Jack pillow, and a really cool classic mini USB drive--the business end of which pops out of the boot when needed, and pops back in when it isnt so it looks like a matchbox car. My family has really gotten into my car--my parents had the mats and pillow wrapped in paper that matched it and the gift tags read "To Pip from Santa" LOL!

RJK, from what I understand, the Brembo's are hard to fit on a lot of 17" wheels, and cost about 2K, although could be a good excuse to also get some shiney new shoes as well . The green pads sound like the ticket . I would like to get the Brembo's as well.

Having just got it and just getting into the who MINI "thang", I was surprised to get a nice MINI baseball cap from my daughter, a MINI matchbox convertible (red not orange) from my son. I was able to find a 1:18 scale (I think that's right) of a spice orange convertible that's proudly sitting in our living room.

FWIW, I went with dba 4000 rotors - they are a slotted rotor made in Australia. Paired them with Hawk HPS pads the brake dust is virtually gone. I’m very happy with them. I also couldn’t justify spending 2K on a big brake kit for a straight Cooper. I love the looks of the Brembos, but still.
The DBAs look great.
There is nothing wrong with the Gen 2 "S" brakes. They even work well on the track. Don't forget, these were the "JCW" option on the Gen 1s. Maybe a red powder coating on the calipers
