2006 mini won't start
I have a 2006 mini cooper. It won't start. There is a low hum/ almost clicking noise from the engine. Not clicking like I'm trying to start my car, it's a constant low noise even though I'm standing outside of my car. Then when I took the key out, the clock and oil light etc is all on, my speedometer, everything is on even without the key in the ignition or me trying to start the car.
Help please, anything?
I am going to try jumping the car in a few hours, but is anyone else experiencing this?
I also have that power steering column issue as well and I don't know if that has something to do with the ignition?
When I try to start the car it sounds like it is about to start but just.... Nothing happens, no juice or something.

Check the battery. Almost 90% (my estimate) of starting issues on this forum is usually the battery. A low or bad battery can cause all sorts of symptoms. The best thing to do is to replace it and then test it. Jumping a bad/low battery doesn't always fix the issue. The next thing to look at is a bad fuel pump/alternator.
