Florida Highway has departed the port (BMW USA & Ceres Marine Terminal) and moved to the opposite side of the Bay (Mid-Atlantic & Universal Marine Terminal). Her next destination is scheduled to be the port of Charleston.

Hopefully our MINIs have been dropped at the VDC and are getting loaded to be on their journey to the dealers

 

I got a call from my MA yesterday & supposedly they are rushing Scarlett through the VDC & on to St Louis by Wednesday! Something to do with closing out the year At any rate, I'll believe it when I have my hot hands on her steering wheel Hopefully we will all have our MINIs soon

Mine is at the dealer. A slip of the tongue there let it be known that it arrived on Monday, but now MA, unaware of the people I've talked to, is telling me it came in this morning or late yesterday. Must be related to K-Line or Captain Peachfuzz.

Note: MA did not contact me first. I had to contact them.
In any case, MA says to pick it up at 4 pm today.

Evidently, the car really isn't at the dealer.
Got a call from the MA saying it was all a big mistake.
On paper, it appears to be at the dealer, but physically it is not at the dealer. They will give me a call when it physically arrives tomorrow or Friday...

oops. Had me worked up. My dealer is roughly 45 minutes from the port. I "optimistically" hoped it may be there monday or today and a short prep and ready to go. So far, have not heard anything from dealer.

Motorworf! You won't believe this!! My MINI along with 5 others are MIA!!!!! My dealer can't find them! My Owner's Lounge says "at the delear" MINI of St Louis' tracking says "at the dealer" But she's not there & no one at MINI USA seems to want to help the dealer find them! I made a call to MINI USA tonight but I doubt if it did any good

Is Scarlett on the loose in Minneapolis by any chance? Or maybe she's sitting on a beach somewhere in Mexico sipping a margarita.....

Mine was (based on dealer AND OL computers) was at the dealer on Monday, but really arrived at about 3:00 PM today--she was MIA for 4 days! I think they hired some crew members fron Captain Peachfuzz to drive the truck(s).

PS: Have your MA take a picture of the truck to see if it's he same one Cocoa was on.

 

I hope that's the case & I get a phone call tomorrow! My MA did say they would make it up to me Maybe the center armrest I ordered & a set of rubbler floor mats would make me happy


And congrats, Motorworf!!!! So tomorrow will be the happy day?

I left BALPOA after Captain Peachfuzz departed for Charleston and his North Sea crew rented some trucks to get our cars to the dealer. So, I climbed down from the roof and will sleep well tonight dreaming about picking up Cocoa tomorrow.

Sure has been an ordeal.
