Oil Changes & Car Washes among Fiscal Cliff Casualties

Oil Changes, Car Washes, Navigation Systems and more among top items car owners will skimp on if we go over the cliff. Check out the list: Fiscal Cliff: How Might it Affect the Car Business? - Driver's Seat - WSJ

What "car things" will you cut back on - or forgo completely - if we go over the fiscal cliff and you find yourself with less money in your paycheck?

Washing your car in your driveway with a bucket doesn't cost anything. Oil changes are necessary unless you want to ruin your engine. We have our cars now, we will take good care of them so that we don't have to replace them any time soon.

We might cut down on long driving trips just for fun, if it gets too bad, that's about it.

The trouble is that the road gets higher and the cliff gets steeper. That can is really going to make a big avalanche when it finally goes over.

Ah well, whatchagonnado....

Happy New Year, everyone!
