Nothing unusual there Jacob. My car has about 2 or 3 buttons that aren't connected to anything! And if you looked underneath the seats, there are two plugs that look like cigarette lighter outlets for the optional heaters. They still installed those and left them exposed! I guess it's cheaper to leave them in than pay the assembly line people to remove them. My mom's Cadillac is also similar: there's a lighter socket in the back of the glove box that doesn't work because she didn't order some sort of option with it. But it does have what she calls "tooshie warmers"!

 

I'd recommend taking a trip to Las Vegas and study a few pinball machines, this will give you a good idea what all those ridiculous buttons are for!

 

On the A/C buttons, push both up and down and you should get ventilation from both at the same time.

The "M" button changes the radio to "manual tuning" from "seek".
