Ahh, we have a TIG also, but quite honestly, as most of the fab work has been in 2mm, we haven't really felt it necessary to dust it off. I have no doubt we'll break it out before the end of the build.

I have never seen such awesome metal fabrication.. You have brought it to an all new high! Excellent job.. You rarely see metal fabrication of that level ever!! Now I see why you might go through some grinders ha ha.. lol.. But keep it up and thanks for sharing your work and skill in building this MINI.. You guys are "top notch" cheers!

I can wait to see the finished project--because I want to see more and more episodes of the build!!! :D
Seriously, I love the mix of humor and technical info. (From the "Police Squad" opening, complete with Abe Lincoln and the mis-matched spoken and written titles, to the "Romans Go Home" on the board at the end!!)
And boy, you really did luck out with that prop-shaft.

Great Work, Both Mechanical and Video
Thanks for continuing to share your adventures in creating a very special Mini. Your engineering and fabrication skills are outstanding. Your humor alone is worthy of a multiple watch of each episode.
Having recently visited London, I learned that we speak a somewhat different language. The car from which you took the drivetrain for transplant is known to you as a See-li-ka. We have a car sold in the states we call a sell-I-ka.
Can't wait for the next episode and to see the project complete.
