just got a new 2013 jcw.on my last mini i would just hit the window switch once and it would close.but now i have to hold the switch on untill the drivers windows goes all the way up and closes.?but the passenger window goes up with one touch of switch.sorry if i make it sound confusing....thanks

 

If the battery gets disconnected you need to reset the windows. I found this procedure online.
1 Insert the keys and turn on the ignition. It does not matter whether you start the car or not. 2 Put the window all the way up (if you are able). 3 Press and hold the window switch in the up position for 10 or more seconds. Do this with the door closed. 4 Open the door to make sure the window drops as it should. Close the door to make sure it goes back up again.
