I'll start: I had just got a new toll road trasponder in the mail, and put the wrong one in my car when i went out. Luckily no ticket since my plate was reg'd to the car, so just a "hey, check your thingie!" email with photo :

What was the hassle?

 

It was the start of the summer enhanced enforcement in the Malibu hills area . This was at a very popular spot on mulhulland dive called the snake . I am a member of the CHP 11-99 organization so I was not too concerned personally but they were writing a lot of tickets , mostly mechanical violations .

Not me, but one of our club members a couple of years ago...leaving MOTD, on the TN side. It was his buddy who was driving when they were stopped. The patrolman gave his permission to snap the pic as a keepsake.

Now this is funny hahaha:-).

 

I got my Dragon trip ticket in TN and it was much cheaper and easier to deal with than my buddies that got theirs in NC. $123.75 vs ~$350

Haha, yes. I thought it best I didn't tell the trooper I had not even gotten started speeding that day. Had to pay some "stupid tax" for my actions.

I do believe I got snapped by a photo radar van about a week ago. Expecting something in the mail any day now...
