New Blog Post - Heavy Muscle: JCW Paceman Review

Everyone has that one weird member of the family. So does MINI and here is my review of the odd ball JCW Paceman

I thank the JCW Paceman has more exhaust sound than you think because the Paceman is quieter than other MINI’s inside. The dashboard in the Countryman and Paceman are exactly the same, it’s not slimmed down like suggested (unless is misunderstood). Not sure if I get the Daddy’s Car tag name, but the Sport Utility Coupe (2Dr) Crossover's will become a significant new category in the automotive market IMO, with Crossover Coupes plan by Porsche, Audi, Volvo, and BMW with the X2. For me the 2dr Coupe Crossover makes a lot of since, but if I didn’t own MINI’s, I wouldn’t know about the Paceman like most outside the MINI community. I would likely be driving an Evoque and missing out on all the fun to drive DNA that MINI’s offer.

Overall I liked your review, thanks for sharing and being open for comments...nice job...

I tried everything to get it to pop but it wasn't playing game
I had the windows down to hear it and nothing
I wanted to get an exhaust clip and stuck the Go Pro next to the exhaust and nothing
But I did explain it might be down to the car itself with a lack of miles on it. My JCW was virtually silent when I first got it and the noise only arrived after 5,000 miles

My reference to the slimmed dashboard is for both the countryman and paceman as you feel like you sit closer to the windscreen/dash

I guess its my UK car scene of the countryman that gave me paceman the daddy's car tag. All the people I see driving the countrymans are mums
