What are the customization options for MINI Connected display?

I have the MINI Connected + 6.5" Visual Boost option for my F55. The default text color (as well as on the instrument cluster) is orange, which severely clashes with the red theme of my interior. Is there any way to change this?

Also, what customization options are there in general? Is there any way to improve the display when playing music, either radio or over Bluetooth beyond the default? It seems like a waste of the display to just have the orange text and maybe a station logo for radio.

Visual Boost is the MINI branding for the LCD display, whether 6.5" or 8.8", instead of the three line "dot matrix" display.

I vaguely remember the salesman clicking a button in the sunroof cluster to change the color, may be wrong. Cycled through a bunch of colors.

That changes the ambient lighting in the door handles and center rail, not the screen color.

Yup.

For as generally great as the iDrive-based MINI Connected is, the overall display isn't great.

Ah, that's right. Only spent about 15 minutes playing with the 2015. No fancy lighting in my R53. Yet.
