I have a 2006 mini cooper with the halogen daytime lights/high beam and HID low beam.
I noticed my day time running lights/high beam the right side is a few inches lower than the left side.
However with the HID's on, they are more even??
How is this possible? I thought the HID and high/beam go up and down together, how can one be different than the other in the same side?
I know there are two adjusting screws for up/down left/right. Do these control both High beam and low beam HID? If so, how can I adjust it if the high beam is off from the HID low beam??
The main screws do the whole housing and then the xenon are then controlled by the auto levelers ( front and rear suspension sensors ) and motor inside.

So if I use the screws to raise the High Beam/day time running lights up a bit, wont it move the HID low beam up as well? When I see the auto leveling done, both my daytime running lights and HID low beams move up and down together.
Well I did what you said and used the adjustment screw to raise the Day time running lights/high beam so its even with the other side. Just like I expected, the HID low beam was also raised at the same time. Makes sense sense they both move up/down together as one unit.
So your method did not work for me. If I move one the other moves also, so I have no way to adjust each separately.
