Krut back in action with an F56
....after a long absence I decided to purchase an F56 MCS. I started enjoying MINI ownership back in 2001 and I haven't owned a MINI Cooper since 2010 so it feels great to be back with one! This makes MINI #9 for me. I've moved to North Carolina from Washington DC and I'm looking forward to meeting other MINI owners in the Raleigh area. Feel free to drop me a note.

Feels great to be back in a MINI - some details about the MINI I purchased ...
I was able to procure it from Manhiem PA through a broker with only 475 miles on the vehicle. Evidently someone bought it and for some reason traded it in to a Toyota/Scion dealer in CT. Car retailed for $28,500 MSRP - I was able to pick it up for $22,000 plus shipping from PA. It took a month for it to arrive during all the storms they were having up in PA but the vehicle arrived in great condition. It's equipped with Cold and Sport pkgs, some minor interior options and roof rails (which I really don't like). I've already installed the rear fog lamp (needs coding at the Dragon) and Chris from G3 Automotive in Raleigh installed my JCW exhaust which I love!
Future mods will include my step core intercooler from Helix (to be installed at the Dragon hopefully) and possibly some lighter bigger wheels (I'm thinking either forged BBS wheels or NM Engineering RSe12 18″ wheels).
