That's a pretty tough request. Best advice I got was from this very forum about 10 years ago when someone suggest the name would be disclosed by the car itself, or something to that affect. I took that advice, kept my ears and mind open and sure 'nuff, it came out. He's had the name FRISKIE on his li'l butt ever since. Tried to get FRISKY but it was already taken.

The biggest questions are: What do you want and what is available in your State? Are "JCW" and "04 JCW" available?

No idea whats available, but Iowa's not a very populated state... I'll have to submit my request and have a few backups in case something's taken. I found an old thread with some good ideas, but I keep going back to boring "R53 JCW" or the like.

I would be impressed if I saw you on the road with "R53 JCW". See if your State has a tool online to check the availability of various combinations. I spent some time with Pennsylvania's site before I got mine for my daily driver.

In Iowa, you need only 2 letters minimum, so you could have just JCW or R53.. "R53 JCW" is available! $25 and $5 a year!! Wow, thats cheap.

Just requested "R53 JCW" and "Works" and my second choice.

Iowa only requires 2 characters, that seems very low. "JCW" would have been very clean with just 3 letters, but it was taken. R53 and R50 are taken, but R52 and R56 are available!

JCW was taken in FL as well. I thought of RG JCW as in Rebel Green JCW, but in the end it was F57 JCW. Ordered on November 13, arrived Saturday. Tag was due for renewal towards the end of this month, so the timing was perfect.

Good luck, I hope that you can get R53 JCW.

We can get a little more creative here gentleman.

I was somewhat surprised "Croker" was available when I got mine. PA is a significantly more populous state.

Probably a reference to the character Charlie Croker in The Italian Job movies.

Try getting MINI related plates in California. I tried getting MINIAC in July 2002 but had to settle for:

I prefer Michael Caine, but if Mark Walhberg is your thing that's fine too.

Good stuff!

Enjoyed reading.

I love the CROKER plate and was thinking something similar but couldn't come up with anything for BLOODY DOORS OFF!

Was thinking maybe MOTORISTA but I dunno.

I really like WHINER as suggested above.

Found this online:
