Here’s an unsolicited science lesson - Blake fluid is hydroscopic, meaning it attracts moisture. Over time water develops in the brake system causing fluid breakdown and two things to occur: 1) Internal corrosion, this will cause fine particulate to collect in the system and can potentially clog and damage small valves like those present in the ABS system. 2) Increased water ratio also decreases the boiling point if the brake fluid. Blake fluid also disperses heat that builds up while braking. I don’t need to explain why you don’t want brake fluid to boil.
There you have it, pretty much every manufacturer has aporox 3 year fluid change intervals for this reason
