Auto stop start

Since my last post got zero replies 🤔 I will try re-posting part of it:
Have any of you had the car coded so the Auto Stop/Start is always off? It stayed off in the 2017. The SA told me he "doesn't think" it can be turned off on the 2022.

@chefjoseph yes, Auto Start Stop can still be coded off by default using BimmerCode.

I have it coded on my ‘21 and my neighbor has it coded on his ‘22.

Heres a screenshot from the BimmerCode site with coding options for Auto Start Stop

Motor on and have a great day,

Rich

A couple people on here have said that you can hold down the toggle for a few seconds and it will remember your setting. Try that first and let us know. Our 2019 remembers the setting, but supposedly they changed it for the 2020+ models.

That's too bad. Good luck with Bimmercode, and turn off the warning message on the display, set it to start in sport mode, and turn off the seatbelt chime while you're at it.

Turning off the fake engine noise is another one of my favorites, though opinions vary on that.
