2009 R57 N12 brake vacuum pump leaks after new install
The old one was leaking, so I purchased a new one. I installed it and everything is fine for a while but after a few days the new one is also leaking. I did ensure that the ring stayed in place when I installed it. Is there a fix for this? Thicker O-ring? Something else? Help!

Yes it should not leak. Did you get a new oring, I did mine and it was fine. Where did you get the vacuum pump from and where is it leaking.

On closer inspection, it appears that the leak is from the oil sensor next to it. I'm going to change the sensor, and hopefully that will stop the leak at that location.
