Derek, I think that if you decide to keep the wheels that are on it, then keyed off of that to paint the roof the same shade, that would be bangin'. Sharp lookin' ride ..........
Im considering getting my roof painted the same silver tone as the quarters, but Nigel's over 92K now so the mods list is slowing down while I wait to see what the reliability list is going to look like. Already replaced the t'stat, electric water pump (recall), chain tensioner and oil seal and brakes all the way around. The water pump has a little seepage but no leaks yet. And now the VANOS seal is leaking. :(

 

I am for sure blacking out the chrome and getting the aero grill, possibly with fog light mounts.

Next on my list is either Window tint or the rear sway bar.

They are actually carbon fiber look 3M Di-Noc vinyl.

Here are some newer photos of my MCS.. no real changes from stock other then I removed the "Rallye" emblem at each side.. The lettering was peeling and the chrome was pitting slightly... besides I felt as if the emblem was out of place and kind of an after thought.

 

This is the only picture I have so far of the Astro Black Clubman I picked up last week. I think Astro Black is one of the nicest "black" colours I have ever seen on a car. More like a very very very very dark navy priest sock colour.

Here's my new to me 2006 Astro Black.

 

Had my Astro Black '08 cabrio about a week now. Waiting to take pictures until I've cleaned her up to my standards.

 

New to me R52 Astro Black. Just picked up last week, already purchased bonnet and rocker stripes, new wiper arm (since old style wiper arm covers are IMPOSSIBLE to find), new floor mats, new bonnet and boot emblems and having bonnet and front facia painted his week. Will post more pics when all that is done. Also want to put chrome roll bar covers on, and maybe white plasti dip the rims to go with the new white stripes. Also thought about white on the roll bars instead of the chrome. So excited for summer to get here!!!
