Mellow Yellow, Liquid Yellow, Fellow Yellow, lets hear it for the Yellow!!!!

I LOVE this color, wish we could have gotten it on the new S on order too.

Oh well, Eggui will need to stand alone in his yellowness

Silver. Isn't that a Benz color? No, it's a Toyota color! Wait, it's the color of hundreds of thousands of Chevy trucks! Hmmm, maybe it's such a global color is just sort of blends in with everything else on the road...

Could it be that those of us who chose LY (or PH or any of the other unusual colors) are most comfortable with standing apart from the crowd..? And isn't that pretty central to the soul of Minidom?

I alone in my MINI stand out from the crowd. Truly Unique, Solid Gold, I did not conform to the Yellowness of your cars...

The queenB travels regally these days (and rather quickly too I might add) in PW because of it's exceptional qualities.

if you're not unique (i.e., discontinued) you are ubiquitous

Also, FWIW, Bumblebees move a lot faster than gold bullion, don't you think? they also cost less (1 nectary shrubbery in backyard + 1 kiddy butterfly net + 1 empty peanut butter jar = many bees)

A Brick of gold is about $250,000

Just my $.02

The glow of yellow will overflow and disallow the ultraslow non-yellow Minis that will wallow bellow.

our color is dynamic; it goes between mellow yellow in the shade to cream yellow in direct sunlight

But Gold builion is so much more in demand than Bumblebees in a jar.

Depends on what you call "in demand". I've seen a SG MINI at my dealer right out in front for about 3 months- not sure if it's still there, but that would make 7 months!
