Andy,

your PL looks great, you'll be delighted starting strolling with it. A friend of mine has the exact same as yours. AFAIK, Park Lane model as it called in Europe is one of the best looking model Mini has made.

I've had my Royal Grey for about 5 weeks. I had the entire car painted this color and have the big sun roof, too.

There was another customer claiming his new Pepper White when I claimed mine at the dealer. First thing he said was, "If I'd seen the Royal Grey in person before I ordered this car, I would have gotten it."

Mine is pretty much modeled after the park lane, well as close as I could get with some extras

as I understand it, Royal Grey is available on any Mini which is not the case in Europe (only available on Park Lane model)

Beautiful MINI. I have been debating on what color to get for replacing Gunner and today I saw the RG in the sun shine and know what I'm getting now. I'll be ordering Gunner II in the next two weeks and he will be a RG/RG. I love the color and I can't wait to get back into a MINI again. You really do not feel good in other cars once you have owned a MINI.

I want to go with the Park Lane interior too, looks great. I'll get my Hella 500s on after I get it too.

Make sure to get the chrome with the park lane dash. It looks excellent together!

I so wish that I had had the opportunity to order what I wanted, but as I was replacing my dearly departed GOLDIE, and had called every dealer in Texas with no prospects, I took what Jackie Cooper MINI in OKC had coming in on the truck!! That Park Lane dash is absolutely gorgeous!! I'd definately go that route.

I think I'm going with the Anthrocite interior but will go with the chrome mirrors. I'm starting to get anxious to get my order in now.

I don't know, the Park Lane didn't quite work for me when I saw it. I think if it had been all patterned, or all a solid color, I probably would have like it better.

But dash trim is highly subjective, and to each their own

True about each of us having different style, likes and dislikes. The neat thing is MINIs are so different per each owners way of making them unique. I still have not seen a single MINI being the same as another I have seen.

It is great being a MINI owner and getting around other MINI owners. I can't wait to get back into my own MINI again.

thanks,

Do any of you have LSD on your RG MINI? I'm going to order my new MINI with LSD but did not have it with Gunner. How do you like it? What differences are there between non LSD and MINI with LSD?

Ashbroomstick: What is your turn around time from date of placing an order at dealership? I got Gunner the first time around from inventory but will order Gunner II next week. How long from date of order to production time and approx. shipping time to get here? I know that I've been told 6-8 weeks but first hand knowledge always out weighs approximates.

Sorry to bother you, thanks.

New MINI is coming in Jul 29 so I should have it by next week. RG/RG with chrome mirrors and I'm going to put UJ A pannel topper on for a splash of color. I'll get pics out as soon as I can get them.

Our RG may only be a color MINI has for this year, no info on continuing the color for 07 model yet.

I have to come up with a good name for the new MINI now, shadow is looking pretty good right now but not stuck on one yet.
