My wife just got a "second car" in addition to what I listed somewhere earlier in this thread.

The Exige and the Elise share the same exact engine and chassis, but almost all of the body work is very slightly different. I actually like the design details of the Exige a bit better. With the Exige front splitter and rear wing, it creates 100 lbs more downforce than the Elise. The only downside is that the Exige weighs about 30 lbs more, and has almost no rear visibility.

regarding rear visability? who needs it!

Those Lotuses are sure pretty! I was wondering, do you pronounce it "Egg-ZEEJ" ?? I just got "aLEECE" down and now they throw this out there. The things we do for "cool factor" .

I can't compete with you guys, most of you guys have really awesome "other cars" I, on occasion, hijack my husband's '06 Toyota Tacoma P/U (extended cab), and for those really short trips, I have a broom....( I'll have to post pics...) Mick

Now don't laugh:

If you were wondering, the Mini would smoke my "2nd Car." I hate driving this boat of a vehicle. It's hard driving it fast "Code-3" now because the car floats compared to my MCS!

My daily driver is an 03 Honda Element. It's practical for my job and gets about the best gas mileage for a SUV. My wife's car is an 06 Royal Grey MINI. My weekend driver is an 05 Hyper Blue MINI Cooper S Cabrio.

'83 911SC with some mods (cat bypass, bilstein SP, torsion bars, bushings, lowered/corner balanced)

And for those wild nights in Mexico I bought this at the end of summer. '79 Rabbit with 2.0L stroker, techtonics head/cam, techtonics exhaust, neuspeed throttlebody, bilsteins/eibachs all the way around, short gears with a quaiffe and some other goodies. I'm probably gonna sell this one come summer and buy an FD3S RX-7, if anybody's interested drop me a PM.

Methman: My first MINI was all PW. When I went to work, I would park it in the jail's parking lot right next to the Sheriff's cruiser. Aftrer a while, he started asking who it belonged to. I came clean and owned up to the cocky little MC parked next to his big powerful machine. I almost had him convinced it was the departments new fleet vehicle and it was just waiting for lights and decals!

Have you seen the first issue of MC2? On the last page it shows an Allegheny County, PA. Sheriff's MCS all dressed out. Kinda reminds me of my little Jack Russel mix: small and cute, but fast and could put a hurtin' on ya.

I'd love to see a pic of the copper MCS! I've seen one in here before, but it was a green and white JCW from Germany. We'd never lose anyone in a pursuit!

Just picked up a 2002 MCS on Dec 26th for my wife. The only thing other than stock that it had were the 17 inch AC Schnitzer Rims. We changed out the run-flats for some yokos and started modding. ABD Intake, 15% Pulley, Magnaflow Exhaust, M7 Catch Can, B&M Short Shifter, Front & Rear Upper Stress Bars, Euro Parcel Shelf, All new stereo with sub, drilled and slotted rotors, and more to come.

Here is the other ride:

2004.5 Tornado Red Jetta GLI
Turbo XS Diverter Valve, ABD Turbo Inlet Pipe, R32 Short Shift LInk, ABD CAI, ABD Lower Intercooler Pipe, ABD Silicon Intake Hose, ABD 28mm RSB, Magnaflow Exhaust, 4Grounding Hyper Ground Kit, Black Textured Euro Moldings, Smoked Side Repeaters, Smoked Hella Taillights, and other little things. I'm going to have to get an ECU reflash for the Jetta to keep up with MCS

batrugger, that's a nice pair of red cars! That's also a pretty radical house you've got. Is that a complete stucco roof?

It is actually a house made up of 11 monolithic domes. It was built in 1974 and it is actually supposed to be the first of its kind built as a house. It is 30 yrs-old. It is all concrete. This site explains them: http://www.monolithic.com/

Just purchased a 1996 Range Rover 4.6 HSE today as winter "beater". I know, I know, I know, not many kids get to call a Range Rover a beater. As soon as the snow starts to fall this year though I'll be ready... 15% Tints, Sunset Copper Metallic Paint Job, Front & Rear Brush Guard kit, 20 inch OZ Canyon Rims, and huge General Grabber tires.I think I'm gonna add a dope system(pun intended) to it for the ultimate "ghetto drug dealer" setup.

EFFFING A OXYCONTIN!!!

Edit:
I'll need to add a winch too so I can pull all the hotties in their civics out of ditches.

My new winter pick up lines:
"Oh you poor thing, here let me pull you up close."
"No mam I'm not Superman, I know the good looks may fool you, I just drive a Range Rover... And I stayed at a Holiday Inn Express Last Night..."
"Oh it looks so cold out there, I don't have heated seats but u can sit on my lap."
"Now that I've saved u will u buy some cocaine off of me."
"That's right ur gonna have to listen to Barry White the entire time before the tow truck gets here."

Great for drag racing, but I still enjoy driving my MINI more.
