I have a 95 GMC C1500 Full Size Truck. I paid a lot of money for it, I can't bear to part with it. I like the nice worn seat, stiff clutch and smooth ride. Every man should have a truck and a MC.
Daily....2000 Chevy Astro van (complements of my company)
Weekend...'05 JCW MCS
Sometimes...'51 *****'s CJ-3A Jeep (not even stock)
Never...'95 BMW 325i (daughters car away at collage)
Not Sure...'03 Nissan Murano (other daughter has it for now)
Thanks! Not sure which one your talking about...was it the 944 S2? We've had that for about 2 years. It was bought off a fellow PCA member and friend who had it for about five or six years and was pretty fanatical about keeping clean. It has been described by my Porsche wrench as the being the best one he's every seen underneath. Have to keep myself reminding myself that as I'm constantly thinking about cutting it to pieces and going racing in the 944 Supercup series.
Yes RJMANN I did mean the Porsche. Just didn't know if it was 924, or 944. Not that familar with the "water cooled engine up front" models. I got the Karl Ludvigsen, Porsche "Excellence was Expected" books for Christmas and I'm only up to the 906's. Fantastic books. Nice photo...great looking car.
I haven't got a second car -- the MINI is it for me. Leif, however, has a Jetta and a Z4, but we don't swap. The exception being when Ollie was in the shop and I got to drive the Jetta at RPMs which made Leif uncomfortable
You'll see mine in my sig, but what you don't know about the Camaro is that it has a shredded rear differential and has since 2001 (I'll fix this as soon as time/space permit). The Coop is my only regular ride as the Spit only comes out about 6 times a year and only onto certain racetracks.
Right now my MCS is my second car & my Forester XT is my first. In late April when my wifes Audrey A4 goes back to the lease company my MCS will be my primary & my Miata will be my secondary car. The Forester goes to my wife.....thank God she's seen the light on leasing cars.
This is my collection of toys. I also have a 90' sportside pickup for the winter. All of these are under covers now. Late March, early April it will be FUN TIME again
I dont own a MINI, brother does and I just love evrything about them, including the great people I have met! This is my brother's and I summer fun car!
Besides our 03 MCS we have a 1999 Lexus RX300. That's the support vehicles. Wife drives it and we use it as the tow vehicle for the Classic Mini's. We also have an 71/89 Leyland Mini Mayfair and restoring for the 2nd time our 1963 Austin Mini.
2004 Jeep Liberty. Use it for trips when we have more than the MINI can hold. It's currently on it's way back to the states and the MINI is headed back on the 25th.
Gina just bought me a Honda Element for Christmas. The big cargo area and the all wheel drive come in handy. I really like it, even though it looks like an unfinished toaster.....
'98 Jeep Cherokee. Used as a winter (please don't call it a beater) car. 130K miles, reliable and as sure-footed as a mountain goat in these upstate NY winters.
The MINI has more cockpit space, though! No foolin!
Both my wife and I have '72 Chevelles, a Ford truck, Suzuki Bandit 1200, and a miata. After 10 years of blissful child free marriage we are thinking of starting a family this year so we are replacing the miata with a family car. Bought our 2006 DS/W MCS last week and loving every minute of it! Besides, running a 2600lb car in G-Stock HAS to be faster than 4200lb Chevelle in ESP/STU!!!!!!
