Effective immediately, I will be resigning as DSOC leader. o-ron will be taking my place.

My MINI debacle is now over, after many, many lies and deception by several parties. I am currently re-evaluating my next car choice, and if it happens that a MINI is in my future, I will be back, and DS will be the only way to go.

I've been DS since August '02... funny thing, I don't know that I've ever posted a picture of my MINI in all these years... pretty much stock, so not much to show.

 

I am sad to see you go as my MINI adventure is just starting. I hope that your next car treats you better.

@ hornguys: my bonnet louvers.
It is a original metal hood with optical fiber parts.
There is no insulation under the hood.

Here is the link from the mini dealer who build this.

In combination with the oil cooler, the temperature is very good.
The change in the front was made by myself.
(Additional air entrance and integration of the sign)

Like the picture of all the MINIs on the ferry. I thought at first it was the gang from DCMM, but then I saw it was from Camminich in middle America. The DCMM gang put 18 on the ferry out of the Maryland Eastern shore. The last 2 had to go on sideways.

 

Could you show the picture of DCMM MINIs on the ferry?

 

I never have figured out how to include a picture here. I would be glad to if someone could explain the procedure in the SIMPLEST of terms.

That picture was taken while I was still a memeber of Puget Sound MINI Club in Seattle WA (since moved inland). That is the Guemes Island ferry, it is designed to hold about 18 "normal" cars. We packed 29 MINIs on it. Good thing it was a pretty short ferry ride.
