General MINI TalkShared experiences, motoring minutes, and other general MINI-related discussion that applies to all MINIs, regardless of model, year or trim.
Glad to see there are a lot of dark silver drivers out there. My wife and I are a few weeks away from delivery on our MCS. It's about 4 days out of the Port of NY/NJ, near the coast of Nova Scotia right now.
All the forums seem to be a bit quiet lately!! I guess everyone is outside raking leaves like me. Except for those of you from the Southwest. I would love to take OURMINI out West and run some straight roads at high speeds. Of course, the twisties are fun too. We have 53+K on ours and he still runs great. Someday, we would like to just get in, close up the house, and see where the road goes with no particular destination in mind. One MINI-owner did just that last year. Never did hear how he fared. His MINI-name was church related, minister, preacher, or something similiar.
Someone into design needs to design a patch and decal for our large and growing larger club. We already have the design, but need someone to transfer it to hardware.
Well, it's back to raking leaves. You all take care. Motor On! Safely.
Hi Ho (DARK) Silver AWAYYYYYY. I'm with ya! Do I get a number now? How about a badge for Exira K? In case you haven't noticed I believe more is better.
my car is coming together.....CR mirror caps, satin black scoop, boot trim, side grilles, blacked out beltline, and now the new graphics (also tinted now, but that went on just after the pics). Next up will be 16" Volk Time Attacks, the lower aero grille install, satin black headlight trim and JCW suspension and H-Sport sways (all sitting in the garage awaiting install).
Red striping on the bonnet, boot and roof adds an interesting and clever flavor. I'm a big fan of dark silver Mini's that are brightened up a bit. Well done!
