I would take the cash and just fix the windows and make it a track car. Then buy another Mini. Paint that car flat black and strip the interior. But thats me =P

If only I owned it outright.... I've tried everything I could think of to get the insurance to let me just fix what I wanted and take the cash for the rest, but I can't legally because the lien holder has a right to make me fix it back to new. Oh, well. I'm getting an aero kit cheaper than I ever could out of the deal, though, so that helps.

Is it just me or this like the popular color lately? Everywhere I turn someone else is getting this color!

I specifically ordered my DS/B because it seemed on these forums it wasn't popular ... once it was ordered, everyone seemed to have it or have it on order!

I'm still waiting for mine ...

It does seem to be a very popular combo. It's also the color of my favorite football team. Silver and Black baby!!!

It is .. but truthfully, I think it's the best color. I have no regrets about ordering it. I admire the other colors but I really like the DS.

Now if only it would get here and let me adore it ..

Yeah, minus the stripes. I'm not a fan of them. I think they are great for others but too flashy for me.

I'm hoping in the next few months to black out all the chrome, there's a local place that'll do it and I also want to get the matte black or charcoal colored rims. I think then it'll be sexy and dark. I may look into tint for the windows too as they'll probably look naked.

Cool. I would tell you to let me know where you get all of it done (just in case ) But -- considering you're in CA, i dont think i'll be getting any work done there.

Hah! The blacking out is likely to be done by Vinyl Styles they ship all over. That won't be a big deal no matter where you are.

Gorgeous! I love the emblem too! I want one .. not that says Benji but my name or something.

I thought I read somewhere that Lyle was from the Bay Area now I can't find it so I must be imagining it.
