Sad news today, with the death rattle starting and oil consumption going up I sold my 2008 DS/B MINI today to Carmax. The local dealership is now saying that it is normal according to MINI for a car to use a quart of oil every 750-1000 miles of driving. Let me know if someone wants to jump up to be the person who updates this forum in the future. I can send you the list via email which is then used to cut and paste as updates happen.

Wow Tron Chief...this is indeed a sad day. It's the end of an era! You've always stayed on top of all the new DSOC requests and I have no idea how you do it. I wish I had the time to take it over, but hopefully someone good will follow in your footsteps.
