Add me in! i just got my IB MCS last week and it's BEAUTIFUL! I havn't made any mods yet, but sudgestions of where to start are welcome (unfortunitly I have to work with a pretty strict budget though so the cheaper the more likely) I'll try to put some pics up as soon as I can figure out why it doesn't let me put pics up.

Thanks for not dumping me! I still heart the Indi Blue the most!!!
And by the way, we really need to find Bruiser a good home...he's sitting on the lot at Jackie Cooper MINI in Edmond, OK. They're asking $17,??? for him and as of now, his graphics remain. They are giving him two more weeks WITH graphics, then he will be stripped naked.
How sad is that?!?!
Call Jayde there at JCM (or send her a PM here) if you know of anyone that might be interested.

Eventually, I'll be able to afford more than $100 a month for the MINI. I hope to eventually get the CravenSpeed ShortShifter, the M7 Strut Brace, the M7 Extreme Hood Scoop, and do some more 'QWERKS' work on the Thermostat, the BPV, and add the VGS. For those Non-Shade tree mechanics, or those that don't get the reference to German Engineering, YES, 'QWERKS' means that I did it/made it myself.

QandElf, WOW. I'm very impressed. I think you might have more mods than me.
After seeing Tuls engine bay, I recently purchased a new mod: http://www.mossmini.com/Shop/ViewPro...eIndexID=56004

Explaination
I guess I should add that the reason why I haven't installed some items is because for Christmas, the Grinch carved a key or knife down the passenger side of MINIQue, and kicked in the Driver's side fog light (broke the support). I'm limited in garage time until I can save up to fix the paint (and the Dragon Vinyls!) on the passenger side. I desperately want to get this fixed before AMVIV. This will be the first year we're attending, and we got the two young Motoring Crewmates along for the ride. Of course, now my wife can only gaze on Bruiser in Iss #3 of MC2 (she has a 'fashion' background), since Angie had to let the great MODMINI go...

I've got some Blue Anodizing paint, which I painted my tow hook with (have it semi-permanent installed) and I'd like to Blue some of the chrome covers for use in/on the Engine.
I've also been following the thread on NAM for LED lights (query "Light that Boot") which I'm looking at as my next low cost upgrade. I may be shade-tree, but MINIQue can still look as good as any Credit Card Built MINI out there (I'd like to think).
BTW, are we thinking about having a IBOC Grouping during AMVIV, anyone? Maybe a solid core to the Death Valley Drive?

I was vacuuming out my IB/W Cooper the other day and walked across the lot to get some quarters out of the change machine. Walking back to my car...I looked up and spied my MINI. The lighting was perfect.....was there ever a more gorgeous car (color) on the planet? A voice came from heaven and said "No...IB represents the summit of creation."
(okay, I made up that last part)
My daughter was following me the other night in her car and at traffic lights she commented that IB looked black in the dark but when she pulled up behind me there was this soft blue glow where her car's lights hit the paint. She said it was a very, very cool-looking effect. So tonight...motor with attitude!!!

Count us in for the group shot. Rodan is back from his re-cooperation and we are looking forward to our 3rd AMVIV. (and it IS the best color. )

gokartride-that's one of the things i like about this color. it changes
attitude in different lighting. in my garage it's a dark blue.
i pull him out in the sun, its a deep colorful blue.. has so many different
greens and other colors in it. it's almost like watching those homedepot
guys mix paint. you mix that and that to get that?! kinda.

We've picked an interesting combo for the tribal flames, something that I think will compliment the Indi Blue's ability to change colors depending on the light.

I don't know about the Turbo MINI, but I know George's personal ride, the Yellow MADness one, still has it's "INDI BLUE" plate in the engine compartment. I saw it last August during a Track Day.
