Soooo Got my Indi Blue in July and have been modding since.
This pic is part way throught he process. All chrome has been blacked out and Honeycomb grills installed.
But I don't know how this works because I am vinyl wrapping my Indi in Matte OD green on Sunday so it will be clothed in Vinyl? Sooo I don't know if I make the list. LOL

Tell me Indi Blue fans, is there a better blue than...
I will say it, I am a indi blue fanboy I am currently considering indi R50 5 speed but ya, the word midland has me scared a wee bit. R53 6 speed also in the mix, whatever comes up first I guess. I will not deny, indi blue is my favorite color for Coopers but truthfully, beyond Italian Job 2003 and a iSpy here or there, haven't seen it in person that many times so what is the closest alternative in a newer Cooper if I choose to go said route?
Lighting Blue seems to fill the bill IMO but has purple metallic overtones (Indi Blue doesn't have 'purple' tones does it?)... Hyperblue seems a little bright. Reef blue is just black with some blue in it and is cool looking but that is another discussion...
So tell me Indi Blue fans, is there a better blue than indi? and what is the next best blue!!?
Thanks for your time,
riz

If anyone is interested, have started a new IB thread in the R50/R53 forum where there might be more interest... (maybe) https://www.northamericanmotoring.co...rs-thread.html

A pic of soon to be new to me ))))
It is a 2003 that was originally bought and lived the first 18 years of life in Germany. It has found its way to France and is in the process of doing a complete belt and braces service and overhaul. Hopefully I get the keys in about a week or so, big change in cars for me I just could not stop smiling from when I took it out for a test drive
And yes the mirror design is "interesting" that is something that I need to tackle -- someone decided to create a personal artwork on them, may need new mirrors or covers -- ideas welcome !!
