Does your MINI have a name?

Thank you for the kind words, Fifty. I really love the show too, and Onslow is my favorite character by far (work shy, and bone idle!) The name came to me almost immediately, and my wife likes it too. So....Onslow it is. Now, all I need is the actual car!
Upon reciept, I plan to christen it with a pint of Guinness or Boddingtons, and maybe dump a bag of crisps on the bonnet!

I spent some of my childhood growing up in Hawaii when my dad was stationed there. It's a great place for a kid! It also had the biggest influence on my life. I love the ocean, especially the Pacific Ocean, so I named her "Lani Moana," which means "Heavenly Ocean." I call her "Lani" for short. The colors also fit, Hyper Blue and Silver. She has a lei around her rearview mirror and tropical stickers on the back windows. I'm thinking about a custom flower graphic and hibiscus/tropical car seat covers.

My first car, 1965 Ford Falcon-straight 6, 3 speed/column, was named Myrtle the Turtle for obvious reasons.
My first ground pounder, 1970 Chevelle SS/LS6, was named Widow Maker. Balanced/blueprinted, headers, tunnel ram, cam, roller rockers, 411 rear end, etc, etc. Tragically, the guy I sold it to wrapped it around a phone pole fullfilling the prophesy.
My wife and I were thinking of names for our new MCS when she started singing the name game song. Mini Bo Bini was born shortly thereafter. We'll call him "Bo" for short.

I thought long and hard about naming my MINI, even consulting a website that provides British names.
I'm a big fan on the TV show "LOST", and, since my baby was seemingly lost for over 10 days before he could be found on board a ship (unfortunately, the virtually untraceable K-Line), I will christen him "Desmond" (one of my fav characters from the show---who is also currently on a mysterious freighter).
Can't wait to meet him in June!

Ours has 2 names!!
Like a fine race horse- her name is officially "ChiliBomb" for our 08 MCS CR/WR, black stripes. But we also have a pet name for her "Sperbie" because the 1st night we got her- my husband said it was like a cross between Speed Racer & Herbie the love bug! He wanted to race her. I wanted to cuddle her! So i screamed out "SPERBIE!!!" and the name stuck!

i moved boxcars around when i was a brakeman/switchman for Santa Fe in the 80's. My dad taught me to shoot craps when i was a kid and it was fun when 2 6's came up and he would yell "boxcars". So when my sister first saw my brothers MINI she said it was a cute boxy car. I nicknamed my BRG/W 05 MCS "boxcars", personalized plates on the way ( after suspension mods )
and small dice decal in rear of window panel. I've even seen green and white dice,

I think there's also a NAM calendar coupon for Aesthetic Creations in one of the coming months. I'll have to look for my calendar.

You are a Mr. Bean fan, I presume? Either that, or you really are "Mrs Atkinson". One of the two, no?
