WOW there are some great names on this thread!! Such creative people we all are!!
I named mine Winnie the MINI because I had an English Springer Spaniel named Winnie (actually, Victoria Windsor, but Winnie for short) and she was the most impulsive, fun, crazy dog I ever owned. And I liked how the name rhymed.
Everyone calls her by her name. Like a pet.

Like the spice orange but I'm not sure about the tail light area and rear bumper being silver. I think I'd rather it have been orange and only top and pillars silver. But as we all know, color is very sujective and personal. Very nice looking Mini! Name is nice also.

So when my wife and I get our Mini (shopping sure is fun...), are we going to be the only ones who don't name their car? As much as I'm a car fanatic, I've never named any car I have. To me no matter how much I love a car it's still just a (or is it "justa"? ) machine. Not saying anything against those who do want to name it, but I think we'll just call ours "The Mini".

Klayfish, lots of people in our clubs don't name their cars. It's okay either way. Whatever you are comfortable with!
But you don't even have it yet. A nickname might present itself to you, when you have it and are driving it. Might. And if it does, don't think it is weird. These little cars have a certain... presence.

[QUOTE=pottermom;1068663]My on-order, won't arrive soon enough baby, will be named Perry.
It is a pepper white MSC.
When I first saw that he is white a nd his name is Perry, I thoughtmof my favorite shoe when I was little...Superman. Clark Kent's editor at the Daily Planet. Was Perry White!
Very cool name ( perhaps a little grumpy once in a while)

I named mine Neil. Partly because the cars previous and original owner is an astrophysics professor at Rutger's University, so there is a tie in to Neil Degrasse Tyson. Partly because it embodies the sheer awesomeness of Neil Patrick Harris. And partly because it just felt like a Neil. Ill get some pics up whenever I remember to, but for the curious its an 04 MCSm, pure silver with black roof (I'm working on finding a good blackjack roof wrap, and Im going to have a custom go-badge made with possibly an atom in it for the cars and my own scientific background).
