I agree, the PS with the black contrast is really sexy, and I'm not sure that I would have had as much fun referring to my car as "pale and tragic" if she didn't have the black roof.

WooT! PS rocks!

Apparently, pure silver has the highest resale value over all other colors.

No pics, because car is on the ship headed to Charleston now. I should have it about second week of September, and will post pics when I have it. I have PS everywhere, with black sport stripes. You can sort of see what it would look like in the configurator - with either black roof or PS roof.

Hard to sneak a photographer on board...I understand. Hopefully by then I'll have mine ordered! I'm thinking PS/Blk (probably with the sport stripes) and with either the Redwood or Carbon Lounge interior + some other fun stuff

I look forward to seeing pics once you get it!

Pulled up next to another PS/B MINI at a redlight when coming out of a local Jack in the Box the other day. It was a pretty nice previous gen justacooper. Tried to get the drivers attention but it seemed like he was activly avoiding me.

Maybe it was his girlfriends car and he wasn't cool enough for it.

That's how I want it. Makes it harder for the bloody coppers to spot your car!

I suggest not applying a roof graphic to your vehicle then. It'll work out better. Trust me, I speak from experience.

Wow!! Casper,
That's perhaps the best PS MCS I've seen, I thought mine was the dog's bullock but man that's one sweet looking ride, do enjoy it with the widest grin on your face, by the way love those wheels, what size are they? also can you post more pictures, I would love to see those mirrors too.

Bling it!

I admire all the stealth PS cars out there , but to me the pure silver just begs for the touch of bling!

You know, I've always thought that the MINI just looks right with the Brit plate on the front.

Darned states with their front plate laws...

I want to start de-chroming the MINI soon. I love the PS/B combo.
De-chrome it?! But why? It looks so clean in a silver/chrome combination! My Clubman is going to be similar with a black center racing stripe.

Looking at all these pics, I'm soo glad I chose pure silver when I placed the order for my car. Does anyone agree that, for some reason, the car just LOOKS faster when in that color? Oddly, it makes the Mini look like it wants to be driven hard.

This is exactly why I call my car an evil genius. She's gotten me into so much trouble because she looks fast... it's kind of disturbing, but I've gotten used to it and just go with the flow.

Phantom has arrived!

Robin, nice pics! Bombadil is a very handsome MINI indeed.

My Phantom has arrived. First pics are in my gallery.

Everyone at the dealership was great to work with. Paperwork took no time at all. My MA spent over an hour with me going over the car and the manuals. Got a few small gifts from the dealership.

The car is just perfect. Everything works... no rattles or squeaks or anything unexpected. Unfortunately, after 2 days I only have about 70 miles on it, and 45 of those were just driving home from the dealership. In a little over a week, I go to VA to visit my Mom - that is about 850 miles round trip. Phantom and I should be well acquainted by the end of that trip.

Anyway, I'm very happy to be the owner of a Pure Silver MINI.

As you should be it IS the best color amongst all the MINI colors .
Just don't tell the MINI owners of different colors otherwise they'll get jealous and start ranting and making up stories on why they think their color is better.

Welcome and Happy Motoring

Thanks cabriopilot! There was really no option for me other than PS. I have been driving a silver Honda Prelude for 19 years (my baby), and she's still running strong, but decided that after 19 years it was time for a new car. Been looking around for about a year, finally decided to check out the MINI, and once I'd looked and driven one, I knew what my new car would be. Considered both BRG and PW colors, each for a nanosecond, but knew in my heart that my MINI had to be PS (even the other "pretender" silver colors - SS and DS - weren't in the running).
