Just bought an Oct. 2006-build MC with Pure Silver body, roof & mirrors.

At first I wanted a darker color, but two cars ago I had a 2002 VW GTi 1.8T in Reflex Silver (VW's Pure Silver equivalent). I'd also had it chipped, intaked, cat-backed, gauged, [insert fake verb here], etc. ... and I ate Boxsters, RSXs, early WRXs and others for lunch AND dinner. AND I got 25 mpg doing it.

Besides, German auto paint is second to none, especially VW/Audi and BMW paint. Especially silver. Silver's got great resale value, too ... and it doesn't look dirty when it's dirty! Heh!

 

In case some of the new folks have not looked back through the old posts. I could not stop at a just a MINI.

 

I like the stealth look in the first trailer pic. Shine up those black doors and we wouldn't even see the trailer.
