Front windshield seal

Front windshield seal

Anyone else have the seal strip that's at the bottom of the windshield where it mates flush against the plastic wiper tray start to degrade? Mine has lsot about 2" from both ends.

Yup. It will soon be totally gone. Really bad rubber (probably natural) used by the factory. See the recent thread on it. I will link when I find it. Found it: https://www.northamericanmotoring.co...-cracking.html

OK, I totally misunderstood this. I thought you could get the trim/seal part separate from the cowl. According to my local Mini dealer that's not the case. You have to purchase both cowls, $116 plus installation or DIY.
