where did you get MCS performance goodies installed on Oahu
#1
Aloha, wondering which shops on Oahu do installation of springs, swaybar, pulley, etc, on MCS. I know Mini of HI installs aftermarket goodies but labor rate is $100 hr.
I've got H-sport springs, madness rear swaybar, & brake package coming from Randy and looking for quality install. Hope to make it out to kapolei tomorrow for get together.

I Did the madness intake myself- very easy.
In Kalihi there is supposed to be a shop to do the pulley install.
Exhaust systems Hawaii has done about 10 borla exhausts for MCS owners
And I know a small shop in Waipio that helped me with the madness rearsway bar install about one hour work.
Things I did myself:
Parcel euroshelf install
rear tail light mod -jumper wire-enables top rear fog light
rear white tail light install
3M clear Headlight and fog light protector install
bonnet aero grille install
MCS metal pedal upgrade install for the clutch/brake/throttle pedals (mine didn't come with it)
I had a body shop near OCCC install the aero grille on my front bumper (requires extensive rework of the bumper).
I had a stereo shop install MB Quart speaker upgrades all around.
I had 35% tinting done for $145 by Darren's tinting- Nice job and good warranty.
And I'm gonna do alot more things but my wife from the Cooper upgrade police squad is watching me closely so I gotta go hide out somewhere now

thanks minihune, What shop did you use for stereo & help with swaybar upgrade? I've also done the madness intake, drivers shelf, brakelight mod, greenstuff front pads myself-
I'm not sure i want to tackle the swaybar in my garage using jackstands or the springs so any specific help with names of shops would be very helpful. Mahalo

Stereo upgrade:
Security and Sound Systems
2131 South Beretania Street
Phone 947-8799
They do alarms for the mini also.
Install prices were $110 for the front and $55 for the rear speakers.
They did a good job and said I get a three year warranty.
You can get the speakers cheaper on the internet but the warranty would be one year.
I got MB Quart DSD 213 for the fronts and DKC 169 for the rears. They are in the Discus line- pretty basic.
Rear Swaybar install:
B&B Auto Service Center
Leonard Barboza
Gentry Business Park
94-478 Uke'e Street Unit 1
Phone 676-2334
They were reluctant to do the install at first but I had Randy BMC talk to them. Install time about one hour.
They do exhausts too.

Roy T,
Most people do the tail light mod with wiring the 1st and 4th wires together via a jumper wire or use a paperclip.
I got a paperclip and stretched it straight then bent it like a broad U then covered the middle section with electrical tape. One end went into the tail light wiring harness at wire 1 and the other end in wire 5.
When I have my lights on my top light on each side is on and stays on at the same brightness even when the brakes are used. Only the bottom lights go on with braking.
