I'm thinking about getting leather boots from redline, and I'm a little confused about the foam issue. So did you use the foam pad Redline sent or just the factory foam?

I believe he mentions he didn't like the size of the foam we provided. We'll make sure to include a larger cut piece from now on.

I'm a little confused about how to specify the pattern for the ebrake boot and armrest cover.
I like the look of the covers below...but I'd like different color leather.

Hi all,

Here's a nice comparison between stock pieces and our work. The shift boot is stock - vinyl, plain and uninteresting. The ebrake boot is our black leather with quadruple white and red threads.

Notice how dull the shift boot appears next to that ebrake boot. It's a shame Ford didn't invest into more worthy items for the 05+ Mustang, which is the car in the picture below.


That picture does not do our work justice, as the person who took it told us. It's taken with an iPhone and it's a bit out of focus.

Hi Maciek-

My family got me a shift and brake boot combo for Christmas, and they look GREAT. The brake boot went on fine with no problems. However, looking at the boot for the shifter, it seems too long (by about 2 inches) and I'm having difficulty figuring out how to disassemble the shifter.

This is for an automatic 08 Clubman.

Do you have any advice, or did I get the wrong piece?
