Available for 2013 Paceman?

These would be great for the Paceman (or Countryman). Any idea when or if they will become available for these models?

Ordered Mirrors

Just put in an order for the mirrors. Thanks for pointing me to the correct item for my Paceman. Your site doesn't seem to let me designate the Paceman as my car. The model year ends at 2011 and it won't let me enter the Paceman.

Blind Spot Mirrors

I just installed the mirrors on my Paceman - I think they are going to help.

One issue: your web site describes these mirrors as having connections for heated mirrors. The mirrors I got did not have those connections. But, my Paceman did not have the heating connections anyway. I thought the car had the heated mirrors option, but I checked my window sticker and they are not mentioned. I don't need the cold weather package here in Las Vegas, so this is no problem.

Was it an error to describe the mirrors as supporting the heated mirror option? If my car had supported this option, I would have had to send back the mirrors.

Hamster,

Glad you got them installed on your Paceman. They do support the heated option, if you already have it wired. On the back of the mirror there are two wire prongs that ( if you have heated mirror Option ), clip into the two wire in your mirror. There is one set of prongs per mirror . If you don't have the option from the factory, the mirror still work visually, you just don't have the heated.

On the eletrochromatic , you have the heated prongs and the additional wires for the eletrochromatic. Of course your MINI has to have those options already wired for them to work also.

Thanks

Mirror Prongs

I was expecting it to look like the install video - it is just different. I don't need it anyway, as I indicated. The mirrors really help!

Thanks.

Your welcome, the install video is a general guide. If you don't have the heated option already, you will not have the wires pre-installed in the mirror.

Thanks and post up some pics if you can of that new Paceman.

I am also planning to install these mirrors on my R60, are they easy to install? I am worried about breaking the glass and injuring myself when I pop them out.

Its not that hard, turn your mirror motors all the way inward exposing the back side of the mirror , then using a no marring plastic trim tool or if you have a tool close to that, press against the mirror backing closest to the clips and then it clips out. Then unplug the wire , install in reverse. Using both hands , one to hold and the other to press makes it easier.

Thanks

Mirror Install Easy

No problem at all on my 2013 Paceman S. You do have to pull/push pretty hard to get old mirror out and the new one in. There is little risk of breakage as the mirrors have a pretty thick plastic backing.

Hey I did not load up on options other than Sport & Always Open. I just realized that heated mirrors & washer nozzles are included as a baseline option. That's great! I had it confused with the power folding (thought heated came with that package).
