Well, I had an issue and gave George a call. He was great. Excellent customer service. Sent him my contact info and he said he'd send me a replacement part when it was available.

Nice to see Mini-Madness stepping up!

The fact that Mini Madness is stepping up to handle PU's defect issues speaks loudly about both vendors. Obviously, they are on opposite ends of the spectrum. MM deserves to to be rewarded with many orders.

Same here. More like one car wash.

And I didn't get the NAM discount either (so they were $$$). Despite asking for it via email, once I found out it existed.

RE; Madness repping P/U stuff...
I have absolutely no problem with George. He's going to have to lean pretty hard on Palo Uber though. George is pretty picky about parts, quality, and preformance claims, and I suspect the things that dog P/U will bug the heck out of him. I'm surprised by the relationship.

They are probably busy spell checking their next vendor announcement.

I've oft wondered...

If these P.U. Forged Rims are designed specificaly for the Mini then why do they need to use centering rings. Why didn't they machine the wheel to the Mini hub specs?

Easier to just get wheels someplace else than spend even 5 seconds pondering that IMHO.

I personally have never dealt with PU products....but I've seen their website and their announcements. The products seem overpriced, and they seem like rebadged pieces. I will never buy their products....so let them fail, because eventually they will.

Why would I want to spend double the money on a PU product that has no testing or proof, especially when I could buy an M7, ALTA, etc. part that is cheaper, better quality, has the customer service to back it up, has all the claims, testing, etc.?

Your money is your money, but if people buy PU products they are uneducated imho.
