Broken fender flair tabs

In removing the front end of the MINI this past weekend to get to the front of the engine I found that I had to pull the fronts of the fender flairs out. There's really not an easy way to do this, and even with great care with needle nose pliers I broke the plastic "tree" clips holding it on.

Of course I could always get more from my dealer, but a lot of folks are some distance from their dealer making this a pain.

Therefore, I did a little searching, and found something that will work.

Over at Advance Auto parts I went looking for a variety of door clips to find some that would work. I bought a variety, and it seems that the Body-tite! brand for Fords works quite well. The part number is 45476.
