So its finally done...
Here you all go. I had to get 35%(the shop would not do anything illegal) so I could not get my 20% like I wanted. But its all good.
Well hey, so I tried to post them here, but I attached them here

So could someone help me re-post them in this thread. Thanks a lot.

bad definition !!
0% is the DARKEST.
When percent figures are used describing window film, the percentage refers to the amount of light which passes through the film (Visual Light Transmission). Hence, dark "limo tint" is 5%, 35% film is "medium", 50% is a rather light tint. "0%" tint would be completely black and allow no light to pass through.
It is crazy that people still don't know what these numbers mean.

i got 20 all around and i considered 50 on the windshieldbut the windshield actually looks a lil darker since i have the anthrecite and all black interior but yeah if you wanna stay hassle free then go with ur state laws but in my personal preference i wouldnt get two tones on the windows if i got 35 in the back i would get it all around not just on parts of the car ...alsoooo live dangerously and get what you feel is dark enough . end of the day its only a ticket lol =) btw 35 in MYYYY opinion makes little to NO difference

Here are some close ups, and no they leave the windows intact and place the film on the inside.
The first is obviously the driver window; this shows the cut around the edge where the tint ends.
The second is a good view from the side; if you look closely at the perimeter of the rear side you get a glimpse of the edge(it is cut right before the dots around the edge of the window).

ok so i practiced, and now im just gunna have someone professional install my good tint on the MINI...it really is hard to install (and its not that its really difficult, but just when it seems ok, it gets weird on the install and wrinkles and ruins the entire sheet of tint)

After looking at a bunch of different tints, I decided to go with 5% on the sun roof and 20% on the windows (except windshield). I was going to go with 35%, but that looked too light on cars with a lot of glass. I don't know about other places, but in MD, windshiled tint (other than factory) is illegal. So is tint darker than 35%, but they don't enforce that.

I at first wanted more out of my 35% and wished I had went elsewhere to get 20% instead, but I have come to realize that the 35% is about perfect for all of my needs. I really like the fact that it does not look too kiddish and ricey, not that you guys out there that have darker tint than I are ricey in any way. I just want to stay away from the civic crowd and their taste. I also have come to find that it is about as dark as I would want at night especially since it is winter now. Well, I hope you guys like your tint and to all who do not have it, I do not think I would ever go back to not having it.
