First and formost we , M7 , have nothing to do with that product as it is shown there. We have been working with Samtrack off and on with his design but have not settled on a production piece. The two sets of fiberglass sets what we have hand made look and fit fine but are more difficult to mount than the metal remanufactured units as Mini Mania are selling. We have also looked into that style but they will be a good bit more expensive than the glass versions . If we do go that route however I can guarantee you they will not be anywhere near as expensive as what has been talked about here.

This is a different take on the vented fender. Dropped my set off at the body shop today. As with everything custom ... 2 weeks.

Will the M7 units allow water to pass through? I can see many a grungy door panel as a result, if so.
I personally like the deeper indentation of the M7 unit myself, but wish that the top edge were not so sharp/severe. I was just looking at a 'Vette the other day and how they did it, and think that it would look better if it were more rounded:
Seeing as how everythign ELSE on the MINI is rounded/curved, I think making the top of the opening more rounded - even a little bit - would help integrate the look better. This might add cost, though, so...
Just my .$02.

For the fenders that Nathan has fitted you could try and ask this seller if they will ship to the US

I had them ship me two sets and have a set for sale. Already dealt with the international shipping and customs issues. They will be on display at MITM.

looking good misfitoy and maxmini!
thought id poke my head in this thread. its about time. those knock offs are purely aesthetic.... the depth of the actual scoop is about half of our design. i think they do however retain use of the washer resivoir. the fiberglass peices are lighter than stock and he cost will be just a little bit more than the stock OEM fender cost.
ive never rocked the fenderwells and dindt want a grill , so ive opted to use 3M clear bra material in the "splash" area.
here are some pics of mine... installed!
i promise more pics!!!
