Front Splitter/Spoiler Suggestions

I need some suggestions for a front splitter/spoiler, '04 MCS Non-Aero. I like the M7 splitter but not the turnbuckles that are required. The Hamaan looks good too...but I'm still looking for the gold nuggets that must be imbedded in it for the price to be that high.

The Hamann is the nicest IMO. Theres replicas around the net for about $200-$250 if you must..

The M7 is a really nice piece. The turnbuckles just give the front end a more aggressive look. It's probably not for everyone, but I really like the look of that splitter on one of our MINIs.

Which splitter/spoiler gives the most ground clearance, or a better question might be is more forgiving when it comes to exiting a steep driveway?

I like the looks of this, and have one on my 06 MCS. But they are pricey. They are available in carbon fiber or an abs type of material.

Yep, I had one of the first Fiber Reinforced Plastic lips--matches the OEM trim perfectly and is cheaper than CF.

Choose MINI on left then Exterior.

I like the look and it doesn't have the turnbuckles which I don't like. So far it's between the Strabentech and the Hamann unless someone has other suggestions.

Man I cannot get enough of these. I was looking at the m7 one, but this fits with the car so much better. I love CF, but I think that I would choose the FRP one because it matches so well.

I've been looking into a splitter for a while but it wasn't until today I really found one. These look great and the price is great even on the CF, but I'll probably go for the FRP.

That seems like a business tax, end-around.

$25 dollars in revenue, and $100 in declared write-off of operations costs?

JMHO, as I'm certainly no accountant.

well i recieved mine already..... and i would much rather pay 125$ for one then any other replica that is priced at 250$.... i think that it is a great product, it needs to be primed and sanded again, but overall it is a nice piece and i would recomend it to anyone that is looking for a cheap, good looking solution to a MINI.......

You don't have to use the turnbuckles on the M7 unit....they are mainly just for looks anyway.

IMHO, the FRP lips are reasonably priced (it's the CF lips that are pricey).
When you take into account the labor $$ involved in painting or even in
some cases, "fixing" replica parts, it is almost not worth it (not to mention
the time the shop will take to perform these tasks). Wouldn't you agree?
Just my .02

Replica lips on ebay, $125~ $250.
Paint and labor, $50 (and a six pack)~ $100.

The Strassentech FRP lip is ready to install. It takes less than 30 min.
and without the headache.

And you determined this how ? Was this from personal experience or are you just guessing again ?

Did ayone look into these? you can get the complete set (non CF), front, back and spoiler for less than $500. Not bad.

Same question, has anyone seen these in person yet? I really like the look of the Hammann style.

The turnbuckles are completely necessary! I won't even think about running it with out them.
