If anyone can pull it of it would be you my friend.....

Sorry for not having the time posting pic's, but I have been busy studying
a white paper on GPS data logging and testing for automotive use, very
fascinating. The fruits of this will be forth coming very soon.

We have a partner in that endevour, and I think there's some "slowness"
issues but with that said, they are great guys and I do believe we will
have a light bar to show before Christmas.

XSMINI, I don't know the shipping details between my distributor/installer
but for less than $300 I bet you might be able to talk M7 into sending you one . ( that would be $1,354.62 in uber money ---oh no --off topic
riot ensues )

hahah i would definitely think about removing that stripe if you put a second scoop/vent on the hood.....kinda defeats the purpose

Does look a little funky... :impatient The scoop interupts the flow of that stripe, but I like the scoop! Doesn't help me out much seeing as how I don't own a DFIC...

.... unless you painted the scoop to match the bonnet... then installed the stripe over the scoop and bonnet... or painted the scoop two-tone to blend into the bonnet and stripe... which would be cool...

yah....though i always liked that it looked like the scoop was leading those stripes...i dont think that would be true if another vent was in the path of it.

I have the same stripes as the M7 pic. My plan is to paint the AES silver on the sides and Astro Black in the middle in order to keep the flow looking
good.

Guys.....

The scoop is photographed without paint. Expect some more images after
it's painted.

Here's another angle (still un-painted).

As long as you are cutting metal...

maybe something like the old shaker hood approach
1 - bolt massive IC to top of engine, well up into airstream.
2 - attach aero scoop/extractor thereto.
3 - cut hole in hood and let the assembly poke thru.
5 - paint and attach stripes
6 - call it "The Boss"
7 - profit

Almost impossible to make in fiberglass, so we decided against it early on.
Remember we are not expecting to sell a whole hell of lot of these so keeping production cost in check was certainly high on my list.

Some people has insinuated that we needed to add this scoop or some of the other options to make the DFIC work properly.....All I can say is poppycock!!
We are adding these products to make the DFIC all it can be and more showing that we are always thinking, never leaving enough alone and with that having a blast doing it......

Peter, you know how you have the DFIC grill like the Upper/Middle/Lower, how about using that for the exit scoop as well?

We will include a patern and how to, if you like to add a grille to the AES.

This is a smokin looking part & I have no problem taking a sawzall to my hood. Since water "creep" is a concern I have, can you fill us in on how/if this is addressed &/or if this is meant for a track Mini only? Keep up the great work & keep dreaming up new parts!
