Thats more than what I did.
I masked everything off. Then put a cheap plastic drop cloth over the car.
Sanded the handles down. Then put about 7 coats of Fusion Satin Black and 7 coats of clear. I spaced all the coats out over most of the day. Turned out really well IMO. I like satin black as opposed to glossy and it matched all the vinyl nicely. The only tiny issue I had was after everything had dried really well, I took a razor and carefully cut the tape where it meet the rubber. I must have missed a spot because when I pulled the tape a little spot of paint came off with the tape. Very tiny though and a paint marker fixed it right up.
It may not be the most professional way to do the job, but it's what my wallet could afford.
