What performance purpose would be served bya adding bothe the M7 front splitter and the M7 rear wing? Just wondering if it is worth the money for the parts.
Added down force, increased drag. There is no reason to really put them on unless you do serious autocross. You are probably better saving the money and using on some springs or a sway bar.
I don't even think the wing and splitter will help much at autocross speeds (and I think the M7 guys would tell you the same thing). Plus, if you do autocross, and your organization follows the SCCA rules for classing, the M7 wing might bump you up to a higher class than you were planning on competing in.
I did notice slight more downforce on my butt dyno @ MOTD with it adjusted for the most downforce. I mainly got my wing for looks though. I have the Fireballed Racing wing, but I am sure they are all the same.

Kinda figured as much. I was wnating to probe around to see whether or not these mods would do anything for the aerodynamics of my car on a continual basis.
They are great for mental aerodynamics (i.e.: looks), but unless you like hitting high speeds regularly, not much else. I still love the looks. That's why I have one.

My butt's usually dragging, so the dyno part of it isn't real accurate.
Kinda scary that you gotta hold that thing up with a couple of rods. I woulda used baling wire in my younger days. I've gone upscale now, so I would use color-to-match duct tape.
