The only other place that you could go is a performance shop and that is probably going to cost you more money...

Haha yep it definitely is worth the extra money to have the wheels looking good. I bet they'll charge you something like $20-$25/wheel but all in all you're still just paying roughly $40/wheel painted and installed... Worth the piece of mind IMO...

Not SLites since I traded those for a set of 15" R93's, but here's how mine turned out with a $4.99 Duplicolor Flat Black Wheel Paint job the other weekend:

i got them done at a body shop

i have this feeling they're going to chip though...im keeping them either way, even if the paint starts peeling off, until its time to get new tires.

reason i think its going to chip, and this may be becuase the paint might still be a little soft, when we were putting the tires on, part of the paint around the edge chipped off, just from the pressure the TIRE was putting on the rim! the machine didnt touch the rim (the machine they used was badass)

either way, if thats the case, ill get new rims when its time to get new tires (these tires are brand new, so i got a while)

if i get new rims at that point, theyll be all black from the factory, so i dont have to worry about paint or powdercoating them.

My web spokes were painted at a body shop, gloss black... I haven't had them chip from pressure, but the rocks seem to love taking a bit of paint with them. The original color of the rims really shows through too.

i think the reason the paint chipped when putting the tires on, is becuase the paint is prally 1 week old or less. it may still be a little soft.

shoulda put it in the sun for a day.... lol

Now, you need to black out the remainder of the grill and side vents. Then, the headlight rings and a Joey Mod!...door handles and side marker lights.
Everything is looking good though. I just think that now the rest of the chrome is popping out at me.:impatient
